FESTIVALS
In addition to a wide variety of community groups and events throughout the year,
St Saviour's is well known for opening it's doors to the wider community to celebrate
all the good things we share in the parish and wider city.
STREET FOOD HEROES
If you love street food (and why wouldn't you?!) then pop the dates in your diary and get yourself along! The best of local street vendors, plus mobile DJ and licensed bar, are open between 4pm and 9pm - ideal for the afterschool treat, a pit-stop on the way home from work, a place to meet and eat on the way in to town, or a chilled family-friendly evening out in itself!

BEER & FIZZ FESTIVAL
Now approaching it’s 7th year, St Saviour’s Beer & Fizz Festival continues to grow, and has sparked spin-off events at other times of the year: our 2-day Harvest Festival in mid September, regular gigs with local bands & musicians, and new for 2023 a monthly visit by the Street Food Heroes between March and September!​ The festival has its own dedicated website, where nearer the event you can find the complete list of ales, fizz, live music, food stalls and generous sponsors!

HARVEST FESTIVAL
Our annual Harvest Festival takes place over 2 or 3 days and as well as the traditional Harvest Thanksgiving service on the Sunday morning, includes live music and community activities so there's something for everyone.​ As well as covering our running costs, we make a donation from the proceeds each year to a local charity, as well as collecting for the St Albans & District Food Bank, managed by The Trussell Trust.

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL
Every three years St Saviour's is transformed into a magical forest of twinkling Christmas trees, each sponsored and decorated by local community groups and businesses.
​
Arranged around a theme, the festival raises funds for the upkeep of the church and a chosen festival charity.
​
The next Christmas Tree Festival is scheduled for
16 - 22 December 2025
